I have the honour to transmit to you, for the information of the Secretary of State, a copy of the Agreement into which we have entered on behalf of the Government of Hong Kong with Mr. W.S. Driscoll, a Foreman of Fitters, on his appointment as a Foreman of Boilermakers in that Colony.
A passage has been provided for Mr. Driscoll to Australia in the steamship "London" appointed to leave on the 7th instant.
A copy of the Agreement has been forwarded to the Colonial Government.
